Yorkshire town of Hedon offers rural delight

The small town of Hedon in Yorkshire could offer the ideal location for those looking for the good life.

Yorkshire has always been a popular destination for people relocating away from the city and property for sale in Hedon could fit the bill.

Hedon is home to around 7,000 residents and has plenty to offer locals. The Norman town, a diverse contrast between old and new buildings can be seen, including Painter's Cottages in Souttergate is believed to date back as far as 1562, which helps give property in the area a unique historic feel.

The market town also has a great community of local pubs, including The Station and The Haven Arms, which are both great examples of traditional English pubs.

One of the other benefits to Hedon is its close proximity to the 2017 UK City of Culture - Hull. The major city is just five miles away, in addition both seaside towns of Bridlington and Scarborough are also close by.ADNFCR-1222-ID-801832399-ADNFCR
