Yorkshire mortgages receive praise for catering for homebuyers

Yorkshire Building Society has received praise as it provides mortgage products which specifically cater to individuals looking to purchase houses for sale in the UK.

Yesterday (January 6th 2011), the financer revealed that it has been given 1,500 best buy mentions for its home loans throughout 2010.

Group direct mortgage manager Chris Smith said this is likely to be the result of the products being created for each customer.

"Our aim is to help them buy their new home regardless of whether they are a first-time buyer, a family needing to downsize or a couple looking to invest in the future," he remarked.

Mr Smith added that it was "good to have some recognition" from financial firms.

Last month, Yorkshire Building Society released a new range of home loans for people purchasing properties for sale designed around the buyer's needs, including a two-year fixed-rate product at 2.89 per cent, which was recommended for next-time buyers or those remortgaging.  ADNFCR-1222-ID-800329124-ADNFCR
