Worcestershire’s Bewdley offers rural bliss

Worcestershire’s Bewdley offers rural bliss

Anyone looking to get away from busy city life should consider looking at property for sale in Bewdley.

The Worcestershire town is home to only 9,000 or so people, which means it is the ideal place for people who want the chance to get away from busy roads and packed streets.

However, while it is quiet, the best thing about life in Bewdley is that the locals have truly bought into the nature of small towns and the community atmosphere that comes with it, meaning there is always something to be keeping entertained or busy with.

The biggest of the events that takes place in the town each year is the Discover Bewdley weekend, which is pencilled in for the May bank holiday weekend, and features a range of stalls, retailers, artists and a parade for all around the town to enjoy.

This is backed up by August's popular Beer Festival which allows adults to enjoy some of the more rare tipples that they may not have sampled in the pubs. There is also an annual summer carnival with a range of different rides and other attractions.

And for retirees in Bewdley who maybe have grandkids coming to stay for the weekend, there is also access to West Midlands Safari Park nearby, which will provide a fantastic day out for all ages.ADNFCR-1222-ID-801828878-ADNFCR
