Wolverhampton may be key prospect

The Midlands city of Wolverhampton could offer a great opportunity for people looking to further their career and relocate.

Recent years have seen the city develop key links with a number of industries, including engineering, manufacturing and the service sector. This has helped increase demand for property for sale in Wolverhampton as more people discover what the region has to offer.

Located within easy distance of Birmingham, Wolverhampton has also benefited from an influx of people who wish to be within easy commuting distance of the largest city in the region but prefer a more relaxed and affordable home.

There are direct trains from Wolverhampton railway station to Birmingham New Street on a regular basis, while there are also regular services to Coventry and Lichfield.

One of the key developments in the city has been the creation of the Creative Industries Quarter located near the Broad Street area.  The University of Wolverhampton, Slade Rooms and the Light House Media Centre are all based in the region and this has helped to develop new prospects for those working in the arts and new technology fields.

There are a number of art galleries located throughout the city and live art fans will be pleased by the Wolverhampton Grand Theatre, which hosts a whole host of great events throughout the year.

The Midlands city is home to a number of sporting clubs and activities. The local football side play their home matches at Molineux, and there is also racing, speedway and greyhound facilities in and around the city.

Wolverhampton also has a rich past and one of key features is the St Peter's Collegiate Church, which is the oldest building in the entire city, having been constructed in the 13th century.

Another key historic attraction is the UK's first set of traffic lights, which are still painted with traditional black and white striped poles.ADNFCR-1222-ID-801714350-ADNFCR
