Welcome to the land of Kings… Norton

Welcome to the land of Kings… Norton

Kings Norton can be found a just a stone's throw away from England's second city, Birmingham and as the name suggests, it is a royally good place to be involved in.

Those looking to purchase property for sale in Kings Norton will no doubt have been attracted to the town because of its charming appearance and community spirit. The main focal point of this community is the green, which hosts a number of events throughout the year including a farmers' market which has been ongoing since 2005.

The town became a big player in the Midlands originally thanks to the Birmingham and Worcester Canal, growing hugely during the industrial revolution. It has now gone on to become one of the more desirable places to live in the Midlands.

In and around the suburbs of Birmingham, within the area of Kings Norton, are a number of schools, colleges and housing development all catering to the needs of new residents.

It's not just the demeanour and history of the town that is interesting, its proximity to the 'big city' of Birmingham is also a major factor when it comes to people settling down there. Birmingham can be easily reached via the town's rail station while a series of roads also lead into the city.

In terms of navigating elsewhere, the nearby M5 links to a number of other parts of the country going as far south as Bristol and also connects to the M6 which meanders north. Birmingham International Airport is also nearby so that foreign travel is not a problem either.

Since it grew from a small town to a thriving suburb of one of England's largest cities, Kings Norton has offered plenty to all who pass through or live there. For a happy town feel coupled with the ease and convenience of nearby Birmingham, Kings Norton is the way to go. ADNFCR-1222-ID-801215398-ADNFCR
