The best country living in the heart of Cornwall with St Austell

The best country living in the heart of Cornwall with St Austell

In the heart of Cornwall, lies one of the most pristine seaside towns that the UK has to offer. The town of St Austell lies just off the southern coast of England just up the road from the county's administration capital Truro.

The town has undergone plenty of development over the last few decades to the point where it now attracts people from all over the country who look for property for sale in St Austell. The town now hosts a weekly produce market as well as the infamous St Austell brewery on top of the revenue that the town's high street generates.

The town's tourism industry now goes hand in hand with retail and sales to support the town. The town's china clay industry is still important, employing over 2000 people within St Austell.

In terms of recreation, St Austell offers plenty to do and all within the relaxing backdrop of rural Cornwall. The town and nearby area has a number of golf courses and sporting facilities including water sports. For the less active of St Austell residents, a number of churches and historic buildings keep people coming back.

Within the rest of Cornwall, there are also plenty of further tourist and recreation opportunities including the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Both these attractions, coupled with the plethora of beaches dotted around the county keep tourists and residents alike returning.

Belying its apparent remote location, St Austell is remarkably easy to find and travel to. St Austell rail station is located in the heart of the town, connecting residents to other parts of Cornwall and further afield. In terms of driving the snaking M5 will connect you to the north of England after a couple of A-roads.

St Austell has a great deal going for it and those wanting to settle in the town could find it meets all their requirements. ADNFCR-1222-ID-800775302-ADNFCR
