Student houses to rent in Brighton & Hove a 'strong' investment

Buy-to-let investors considering property for sale in Brighton & Hove to convert into student housing will be making a good investment, it has been claimed.

The student housing market offers favourable demand dynamics, according to Savills.

Knight Frank has revealed that landlords with flats to rent in Brighton & Hove and other regional cities are making good returns, as average rents rose by 4.1 per cent over the past twelve months.

The city was found to be one of the most popular locations for university students, alongside Kingston, Edinburgh and Durham.

Marcus Roberts, director of student investment and development at Savills, agrees that regional student housing offers a "good place" to invest.

He added: "What you need to do is look at the strength of the university and the university city that you are investing into and, more particularly, the location."

Quality locations are attracting investors, he added.ADNFCR-1222-ID-800547000-ADNFCR
