Sedgley offers boasts good transport links

Anyone planning to move away from Birmingham but still travel into the city for work could consider the wealth of property for sale in Sedgley.

The town has a population of around 11,000 and has a great small community feel - despite being close to both Birmingham and Wolverhampton.

It has steadily grown in popularity with commuters needing to make the daily trip to the office as it has strong transport links with good connections to many surrounding areas.

However, even though it remains fairly small, Sedgely has a wide range of facilities that will appeal to families looking to move away from the more urban areas of the UK.

In particular, it has strong educational options for those with children, with a total of eight primary schools including the Queen Victoria Primary School, Cotwald End, Alder Coppice, St Chad's and Straits.

There are also a number of secondary options for older children, such as Dormston and High Arcal schools.

In terms of leisure, there are plenty of things for families to do. One of the highlights is the Baggeridge Country Park, which has a lovely cafe, a play area and even a mini railway.

For those looking for something even more active, there is always the option of Sedgley Breacon. Regarded as the highest point in the West Midlands, it is very popular with local ramblers as well as visiting tourists, with its summit offering fabulous views on clear summer days.ADNFCR-1222-ID-801793645-ADNFCR
