Sedgely: Take the family to live in a lovely little village

Many young professionals who have lived in the big cities around
the UK since their graduation will need to make a decision when the
time comes for them to start a family. For most, it will no longer
be practical to live in a busy and loud environment, and they will
look to move somewhere quieter.
This can often be achieved by having a look towards some of the
smaller settlements that exist around the large cities and
commuting into work, giving the best of both worlds. A perfect
example can be discovered when people view
property for sale in Sedgley.
The large village in the West Midlands has only 11,000 residents,
giving it a peaceful air that will be far removed from the sort of
loud atmosphere new parents may have been used to in nearby
Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
The biggest benefit for parents in this area comes in the form of
the educational facilities on offer, which will always be one of
the largest considerations for anyone who is starting a family for
the first time.
Sedgley is home to a number of primary schools, including the likes
of Queen Victoria Primary School, Cotwald End, Alder Coppice, St
Chad's and Straits. The latter has improved in greater years to be
known as one of the best in the entire Dudley borough.
In terms of the secondary education on offer, this comes from
Dormston and High Arcal schools, both of which offer sixth-form
facilities. The wide range of schools on offer means that new
parents looking to move to the village are able to visit them all
and make sure they find something which will most suit their own
child.
Other benefits of living in Sedgely include the fact that it is the
start point for a number of bus routes that head to the likes of
Dudley and Wolverhampton, ideal for commuters making the daily trip
to their workplace.
Meanwhile, the village is aesthetically pleasing, with many of the
buildings erected pre-1900 still standing. It is also surrounded by
greenery and countryside that means it is ideal for taking a walk
as a family and getting a breath of fresh air.
