Roof gardens are a 'great way' to insulate property to rent in Hedon

Landlords looking to make their houses to rent in Hedon more eco-friendly may want to consider a roof garden.

The installations have increased in popularity over the past 12 months, according to Eco Designs.

More awareness and knowledge about the need to go green has encouraged property owners to look for different ways of insulating their homes.

John Williams, principal landscape architect at Eco Designs, explained: "They are a great way to insulate your property.

"They also encourage biodiversity and lower your carbon footprint by insulating the property by saving on your energy bills."

Green home improvements installed in property to rent in Hedon could make houses cheaper for tenants to run.

Older properties in the historic East Yorkshire town could well benefit from energy efficiency measures.

Roof gardens may also be away to make the outside of a property more visually appealing.

HSBC has revealed that Brits spend £7.7 billion each year on maintaining gardens and their other outdoor spaces.ADNFCR-1222-ID-800616546-ADNFCR
