Holiday property to rent in Bridlington could attract tourists looking to combine a beach holiday with a sightseeing trip.

The British tourism site says York attractions such as the Shambles, the National Railway Museum and the Jorvik museum are popular with history lovers.

In addition, short-term property to rent in Kent could be in high demand as tourists flock to Herne Bay.

The beaches of Kent's coast are complemented by its castles, Dickensian towns and the historic dockyards at Chatham, the website explains.

According to the latest data from LSL Property Services, the cost of property to rent in Yorkshire and the Humber has increased by 0.8 per cent in recent months.
