Property for sale in Essex sees 'dramatic' rise in sales

Houses for sale in Essex have experienced a dramatic rise in sales over the last 10 days, it has been revealed.

The Essex branch of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) has reported that a low start at the beginning of March turned around in later weeks.

Property  for sale in Essex that is "priced sensibly" has experienced a boost in viewings and offers, the office has found.

Des Rowson, representative for the Essex branch, hopes momentum will increase as the weather continues to improve.

Property to rent in Essex is also experiencing increased demand, due to tenants outstripping supply, he added.

Nationally, the NAEA report for March has revealed a "sharp rise" in property enquiries.

The number of house hunters registering with estate agents across the UK rose to 290, compared to 678 in February on average.

This figure is the highest level experienced in eight months, the association has noted.ADNFCR-1222-ID-800507938-ADNFCR
