Positive outlook for houses for sale in Norfolk?

Confidence in the buy-to-let market could attract landlords to property for sale in Norfolk.

Research by the Mortgage Works has revealed that more than half of brokers think more people will invest in buy-to-let property in 2011.

As a result, Norfolk could soon see an increase in houses to rent in Norwich or Thetford as more landlords invest in the "buoyant" market.

In addition, professional landlords could be attracted to houses for sale in Norfolk, with 48 per cent of brokers predicting investors will boot their portfolios in the coming months.

Ian Andrew, head of intermediary sales at Nationwide and The Mortgage Works, says for those entering the buy-to-let market, the outlook is "broadly positive".

He said: "The overwhelming majority of brokers believe that most professional landlords will either maintain their stock or buy more properties in 2011, indicating a stable and improving market place."

An increase in rental stock is good news for tenants looking for property to rent in Norfolk.

The county's many attractions could make rental homes very popular – with unspoilt coastline, nature reserves and seaside resorts on offer to residents and visitors.ADNFCR-1222-ID-800478247-ADNFCR
