Plymouth is building for the future

Plymouth is building for the future

Those looking for property for sale in Plymouth will see that the city is a haven of activity within one of the liveliest and most attractive corners of the UK.

It is located on the south coast of Devon, just south west of the pristine Dartmoor National Park and just west of the River Plym. The city has a proud naval and maritime history thanks largely to its locality to the sea. The reputation for shipbuilding grew in the city since the Industrial Revolution and is still alive and well now.

However, Plymouth also has plenty more going on in the modern day. It is home to one of the UK's biggest universities while it is also one of the most populated cities in the UK too. Aside from arguably Bristol, it is the heart of the south-west and it contributes a lot back into the local area through jobs and commerce.

As you may expect from such a large city it has a wide range of shopping and leisure activities. Plymouth's high street has all manner of shops and stores while the city has loads of pubs, bars, restaurants and nightclubs for residents and visitors to enjoy. It's not just retail therapy or food and drink which the city can offer either.

A walk down by the coast will give you a glimpse into Plymouth's history as well as a glimpse out to see. The city's ocean views are somewhat spectacular and are a big draw for potential residents.

In terms of travelling to the city, there are very few problems presented with Plymouth being easily accessible by train, road and by air. The city's train station is on a popular line which runs through the midlands and further north while proximity to the M5 and a local airport meet all other transport requirements.

Plymouth as a city is growing all the time and you could be a part of it by settling down there.
