Penzance packs a punch for property-seekers

Situated in the far-west of Cornwall and sheltered by the impressive Mount's Bay, Penzance is a hugely charismatic port town with plenty to offer. Penzance may be famous for the comic play 'The Pirates of Penzance' but it's those who now live in the town who will be having the last laugh as they enjoy the many benefits available.

Many people looking for property for sale in Penzance will be lured by the attractive ocean views that the town offers as it looks out onto the English Channel. The fact that is lies on the coast also offers plenty of further attractions to residents and visitors alike.

Fresh seafood is still farmed in the town, although much of the town's industry now comes from tourism and retail, while the harbour and the sea views provide an excellent backdrop to walks and other leisure activities.

In terms of cuisine, Penzance and the surrounding Cornish area offers plenty of options to tantalise the taste buds. As well as fish and seafood, traditional Cornish pasties and cream teas as well as locally-sourced meat and veg are all available to be tried and tasted. Penzance also has plenty of inns and pubs full of local ales, wines and ciders.

The area has plenty of culture going on, besides the famous play too. Churches, gardens, theatres and art galleries all populate the local region so that residents will always have plenty of things to do. Walking is also popular thanks to the stunning views and impressive walking routes on offer. In terms of sporting opportunities, Penzance's coastal location means it is popular with surfers and other water-sport enthusiasts, while on firmer land football, cricket and rugby grounds around and about are all popular and well-attended.

For the town's size, Penzance packs a lot of punch. It's always keeping residents interested in the area and tourists coming back. ADNFCR-1222-ID-800773891-ADNFCR
