New road to boost houses to rent in Dorset?

Buy-to-let investors could find a new road boosts awareness of their property to rent in Dorset.

The Weymouth relief road, opened last week, could lead to more commuters passing "to let" signs erected by Team estate agents, boosting interest in houses to rent in Dorset.

According to Dorset County Council, the road will support economic development and support the nearby A354, which is used by more than 35,000 cars and lorries each day.

The Association of Residential Letting Agents (Arla) said using "to let" signs is still an effective way to advertise rental properties and raise brand awareness for estate agents.

Ian Potter, policy operations manager at Arla, explained: "Many people do use the internet but will then want to have a look at an area, with the board being a 'signpost' to the actual property."

The signs could also provide a physical advertisement for flats and houses for sale in Dorset, in addition to online listings.ADNFCR-1222-ID-800477117-ADNFCR
