New deals for people buying houses for sale in 2011

People hoping to buy houses for sale in 2011 but struggling to secure a home loan may be eligible for new Precise Mortgage offers.

The lender has launched 50 products designed to help those who have been turned away from high street lenders but still want to take out a mortgage this year.

Two-year trackers, capped and fixed mortgages are included in the new deals with rates starting from 4.79 per cent.

Alan Cleary, managing director of Precise Mortgages, said the deals were designed following feedback from the broker market.

He said: "Precise Mortgages is aiming to become the lender of choice for brokers who have cases that do not fit current high street criteria.

"The extent of our range and the speed of our mortgage platform means a decision in principle will be given in minutes."

A summit between housing minister Grant Shapps and UK banks is planned for February.

The meeting is designed to help lenders create products for first time buyers looking for houses for sale in the UK but struggling to secure mortgage finance.
