More houses to rent in Yorkshire due on the market?

With summer approaching, buy-to-let investors may be investing in property to rent in Yorkshire for holidaymakers headed to the county's coastal resorts.

Houses to rent in Yorkshire may experience a popularity boost this summer after two of its towns, York and Whitby, were judged two of the nation's favourites.

York topped the Rough Guides poll of Britain's top small cities and towns, with Whitby coming in seventh place.

Research from Paragon has revealed that almost half of mortgage intermediaries have seen an increase in landlord business during the first quarter of 2011.

More property to rent in Yorkshire could enter the market as 18 per cent of brokers report an increase in business of more than ten per cent.

John Heron, Paragon Mortgages managing director, says there is growing confidence in the buy-to-let sector.

He explained: "Landlord demand is clearly strong and buy-to-let finance is becoming more readily available to meet that demand."ADNFCR-1222-ID-800504347-ADNFCR
