May lending boost to benefit houses for sale in Withernsea?

Buyers hoping to invest in property for sale in Withernsea may benefit from the predictions of a mortgage expert.

Despite low lending figures in April, May might be a more positive month for those trying to secure a mortgage, according to John Charcol.

The mortgage advisory firm says people should not be "too disheartened" by weak lending in April.

Ray Boulger, senior technical manager at John Charcol, explained: "I think one has to be pretty cautious not to read too much into those figures – indications so far suggest that in May the figures will move back up again."

Figures from the Bank of England show that the number of mortgage approvals for house purchase fell to 45,166 in April, from 47,145 in March.

An upward turn in home loan approvals could help those viewing houses for sale in Withernsea.

Research by the Halifax recently revealed the North Humberside town to be one of the cheapest seaside towns to live in, with an average house price of £99,153.ADNFCR-1222-ID-800567278-ADNFCR
