Lincoln offers natural beauty

Famed for its supposedly flat as a pancake landscape, Lincoln is in actual fact home to stunning natural beauty.

People looking to buy property for sale in Lincoln will undoubtedly be wowed by the beautiful Wolds and golden east coast beaches. The former dispels the myth that Lincoln is flat while the latter is made up of 50 miles of gorgeous sand.

This juxtaposition of stunning greenery to the north and lush sand to the south also means that the region is packed full of wildlife. Visitors to the county will be able to spy seal pups in the winter, barn owls and much more. The Donna Nook National Reserve is a great place for enjoying the animals that call Lincolnshire home.

Lincoln is also home to a world-class university. Students at the University of Lincoln can study everything from biology to journalism. In 2016 it was ranked in to top 40 Universities in England.

The city is also renowned for its friendly locals and generally slower pace of life. This is a perfect place to come and unwind.

However, that is not to say that there is not plenty to do there. Quite the opposite, in fact. For starters, there is a visit to the 11-century gothic cathedral that dominates the city’s skyline. Lincoln Castle is a similarly impressive sight.

Lincoln also benefits from a high street full of chain names and independent boutiques. Meanwhile, the kids will be kept entertained by a trip to Rand Farm Park and the Natural World Centre.

The locals also know a thing or two about food in Lincoln, as proven by the county’s renowned sausages.

It is also a quirky place to live. After all, it hosts annual championships for egg throwing and cabbage hurling. Now, there aren’t many places on earth that can say that, are there?ADNFCR-1222-ID-801822879-ADNFCR
