Bath is a highly pretty spa city located in the south-west county of Somerset. First established with the name Aquae Sulis, the city began life filled with Roman baths and temples. Now it has evolved to not only remember its Roman past but also look to its bright commercial future.

Bath is well-visited by tourists for its history but is also very popular with residents due to the lively and sophisticated nightlife available. While not all those looking for a property for sale in Bath will be able to afford homes among the infamous Royal Crescent, the rest of the city offers much more affordable prices.

The city itself is in fact, rather impressively, inscribed as a world heritage site and has been since 1987 thanks to its variety of theatres, museums, and other cultural and sporting venues. This goes some way to explain its ever-present popularity with those with live there and visit.

In terms of location, the city is handily placed for Bristol airport as well as more natural attractions. Exmoor and Dartmoor national parks Are both located in the region as is the New Forest National Park Authority. That's on top of the miles of coastlines and beaches in the area.

Bath train station is managed by First Great Western and can connect you to the rest of the country quickly and easily. In terms of motorway links, the M5 runs through the heart of Somerset up towards Birmingham and the north of England while the M4 connects residents of Bath and the wider Somerset area to London.

The city is a beautifully quaint and historically fascinating town and those interested in a house for sale in Bath can rest assured that should they commit to a move, they will be living in one of the most attractive areas of the country. ADNFCR-1222-ID-800712418-ADNFCR
