Houses for sale in Norfolk more affordable?

The price of property for sale in Norfolk continued to fall last month, it has been revealed.

Small price changes in April are offering opportunities to buyers looking to secure an affordable home, according to the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA).

Sellers in the region are willing to set the prices of houses for sale in Norfolk to generate a sale, the association's Norfolk branch reports.

The number of enquiries from buyers remains stable, despite the "welcome distractions" of the royal wedding and bank holidays.

Ian Harris, representative of the Norfolk branch, says the promotion of Norwich City football club to the premiership may boost interest in property for sale in Norfolk.

He explained: "The publicity and prominence of this can only help and enhance the reputation of the City of Norwich and County of Norfolk, as a successful place to live, work and do business."

Overall, sales levels remained stable across the UK, the NAEA reports, with an average of eight sales per estate agent branch in April.ADNFCR-1222-ID-800560397-ADNFCR
