Home improvements planned for houses to rent in Wolverhampton?

Landlords in the West Midlands may be spending the forthcoming bank holiday weekend improving their property to rent in Wolverhampton.

According to research by HSBC, 40 per cent of respondents are planning to use the extra time off for some DIY.

Home improvements such as loft conversions and redecoration may boost tenant interest in houses to rent in Wolverhampton.

In addition, the 13 street parties planned across the city to celebrate tomorrow's (April 29th) royal wedding may also see more people looking to move into property to rent in Wolverhampton to benefit from the abundant community spirit.

The HSBC poll found that redecorating rooms was the most popular job planned for the bank holiday weekend, with minor repairs and touch-ups taking second place in the chart.

Stuart Beattie, head of mortgages at the bank, says improvements should aim to make the home more pleasant to live in.

The latest LSL Property Services index reports that rental costs in the West Midlands fell in March, with rates decreasing by 1.3 per cent.ADNFCR-1222-ID-800515504-ADNFCR
