High yields from student houses to rent in Bath?

The student accommodation market could prove attractive for buy-to-let investors viewing houses for sale in Bath.

Student accommodation has become increasingly popular for investors due to the constant supply of tenants, according to Knight Knox International.

The property group claims houses to rent in Bath and other university cities are also attractive to landlords due to the high yields offered.

Suzanne Todd, senior property consultant at the firm, highlighted that providing quality accommodation is important.

She explained: "There is lots of demand now for good quality.

"People say there is loads of student accommodation all over the place, but there isn't really – not of a good quality."

Research by Knight Frank found student housing to be the best performing UK property investment sector, with returns for regional student accommodation totally 14.65 per cent.

The data could see more buyers viewing houses for sale in Bath to offer quality student accommodation to some of the local university's 15,000 students.ADNFCR-1222-ID-800604049-ADNFCR
