Heaven in Hedon?

Heaven in Hedon?

Anyone looking for a small community to call home should consider buying property for sale in Hedon.

The town in the East Riding of Yorkshire has around 6,000 residents and could be perfect for those looking to bring up their family away from the larger cities.

Hedon's location means that it is actually ideal for workers based in the nearby city of Hull as it is a short and easy commute to the office on a daily basis.

As it is only five miles away, it also means that Hull is very convenient for shopping trips or days out, with regular bus services to the city from Hedon, as well as good road links.

However, in Hedon itself there are plenty good facilities that will appeal to families.

In particular, there are a number of good education options in the town, with more than one primary school, as well as wraparound care options.

Hedon also has plenty of appealing local pubs, which tends to be standard in many of Yorkshire's smaller towns. The Station and The Haven Arms are two popular establishments in the town and boast traditional English pub atmospheres.

The small town dates back to the Norman times and there is a real mix of old and new buildings to look at, including Painter's Cottages in Souttergate which dates back to around 1562.

For people who prefer to enjoy the outdoors, the nearby North Yorkshire Moors national park, which is an hour away, provides a great opportunity to enjoy some exercise, fresh air and take in some stunning scenery.

The east coast is also just a short drive away and ideal for day trips out, with famous seaside towns, such as Scarborough, Bridlington and Filey all on the doorstep.ADNFCR-1222-ID-801751550-ADNFCR
