'Healthy' demand for houses for sale in Kent

More homebuyers may be venturing out to view houses for sale in Kent as the summer approaches.

According to Knight Frank, demand for property for sale in Kent and across the UK should be "healthy".

The property consultant reports that house prices are at a high level, not too far from their previous peak.

Liam Bailey, head of residential research at Knight Frank, warns that although interest rates may rise, the economic conditions may see more people opting for houses to rent in Kent instead.

The country recently topped a chart by the Daily Telegraph detailing the best places to buy property in the UK.

According to the newspaper, property for sale in Kent hold a number of advantages, including good transport links to London for commuters.
