Go West, on to Super Mare

Go West, on to Super Mare

Few seaside towns offer equal enjoyment to their short-stay holidaymakers as they do to their long-term residents. The smell of chips and smell of candy floss can quickly grow tiresome for anyone staying longer than a few days. The difference with Weston-super-Mare is that it offers so much more.

Many who look for property for sale in Weston-super-Mare do so because of its friendly atmosphere, embracing sea breeze and convenient Somerset location. Weston is located in northern Somerset just off the M5 motorway. On a clear day, residents can see the southern tip of Wales. Weston is a number of delightful Somersettian towns dotted along the northern coast of Somerset and neighbouring Devon.

From east to west, there is Weston, Minehead and Ilfracombe while there is also the huge Exmoor National Park. To the east of Weston is the nearest large city, Bristol. This means that together Weston has a wide variety of towns, villages and a city to keep them entertained and well supplied.

The town also boasts impressive transport links, something not too common with towns of a similar size. Weston Train Station links to other small towns throughout Somerset as well as to Bristol, one of the largest rail stations in the country. From Bristol, commuters can connect to hundreds of towns and cities across the UK. The aforementioned M5 meanders north to Birmingham as well as south towards Exeter while the M4 crosses the River Severn and into Wales.

As you may expect from a town so attractive to tourists and holiday makers, there are plenty of things to keep everyone occupied. In the summer, the beach is the main port of call for all things sea and sand. Bars, restaurants and even an aquarium are also available as well as good shopping facilities in the town centre.

It's clear to see that Weston offers much more than just a fun day out, it's a fun place to live too. ADNFCR-1222-ID-800753617-ADNFCR
