Discover the delights of Bournemouth

If you love the sea, fresh air and beautiful beaches, then you should try looking for property for sale in Bournemouth.

With seven miles of sandy beach, beautiful architecture, great shops and a vibrant atmosphere, Bournemouth is the jewel of the south coast.

The town is the largest in Dorset and is a cultural and economic stronghold.  In 2007, a survey found that Bournemouth was the happiest place in the UK, with 82% of people questioned saying they were happy with their lives – hardly surprising when you consider the range of attractions and events on offer.

Not content with boasting a Premiership football team and its own Symphony Orchestra, the town hosts several annual festivals, including air, food, arts, jazz, LGBT pride and motor boat racing.  The beautiful Victorian pier has its own theatre.  Adrenalin junkies can even opt to take a zip wire from the end, over the sea and back to the beach.  For younger children, attractions like the aquarium, Splashdown Water Park or Farmer Palmer’s farm park may be a better option.

Bournemouth has two selective, single-sex grammar schools and 10 secondary modern schools. Pupils at local secondary schools perform above the national average at GCSEs.  There is also a choice of private schools as well as two universities, Bournemouth University and Arts university Bournemouth.ADNFCR-1222-ID-801826183-ADNFCR
