Consider the town of Hove as home

The town of Hove is often overshadowed by the neighbouring Brighton, but it could offer a great home for families.

Around 90,000 people live in the coastal town in East Sussex and its location makes it ideal for those who have to commute to London.

There are strong transport links to the rest of the UK, with regular train services to central London. Hove is also well placed in terms of road connections for those who prefer to drive.

Families looking for property for sale in Hove will want to do some research in to the local schooling options. There are plenty of primary schools, three high schools and a sixth-form college that should met the needs of most children.

People will also be interested to learn there are plenty of leisure facilities in the area. One of the highlights is the King Alfred Centre which is home to a gym and a swimming pool. It also has a great location overlooking the Hove coastline.

For those who prefer to watch their sport, then betting on the dogs at the Brighton and Hove Greyhound Stadium could be a perfect leisure pursuit. There are races held every Thursday and Saturday evenings, Wednesday afternoons plus Friday and Sunday lunchtimes.
