Christchurch – a slice of the good life

Christchurch – a slice of the good life

Located on the south coast between Bournemouth and the New Forest, picturesque Christchurch has so much to offer.

Those looking for property for sale in Christchurch will find that the bustling high street and Saxon Square shopping centre provide a wide choice for shoppers. On Monday there is a street market, with the main street closed to traffic to allow around 50 stalls to sell everything from fresh fish to jewellery.

Every May, there is even an annual food, which attracts thousands of visitors to the town.

The town has great transport links, with a rail station, regular buses to nearby Bournemouth and the local airport offering regular flights as to a surprising range of destinations, including Gran Canarias and Barbados. The key trunk road in the south of England's, the A37 provides easy access to the M27 at nearby Southampton.

There is so much to do locally.  Fossil hunters will be keen to visit the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage site stretching for 95 miles from Exmouth in Devon to Studland Bay in Dorset.  The local Two Riversmeet Leisure Centre has two swimming pools, football pitches, a gym and a 9-hole golf course.

The 02 Academy in Bournemouth regularly attracts national acts, with Jake Bugg, The Wonder Stuff and Kula Shaker all performing there.ADNFCR-1222-ID-801826181-ADNFCR
