Buyer confidence in houses for sale in Worcestershire?

Confidence in buying property in the UK is high, according to a recent survey.

The Worldwide Property Group's confidence tracker poll for March has found that 84 per cent of respondents believe now would be a good time to invest in a new home.

In addition, only 28 per cent of respondents think property values will fall in 2011.

This may be good news for estate agents in Worcestershire, as the county's stock may prove popular with house hunters.

Houses for sale in Worcestershire may experience a demand boost as a result of financial prizes given to the county's councils earlier this month.

Rewarding the area for increasing local housing stock by 150,000 in 2010/11, the government's New Homes Bonus scheme has granted £2.1 million to local authorities to spend as they choose, the Worcester News reports.

Councils are keen to invest the funds into long-term growth projects such as high-speed broadband, the newspaper claims.ADNFCR-1222-ID-800513714-ADNFCR
