Somerset’s Burnham-on-Sea is well known as a hotspot for those approaching their retirement years, but also offers something for the young at heart.

Formerly the home of 2013 World Champion Located in Somerset, the town has recently hosted the two-day Spray Jam street art festival. The 42 acre Apex Park, home to a skate park and the Burnham Tigers’ BMX track, one of the UK’s best racing venues.

For those looking for something a little more sedate, the park offers fishing, a children's play area and gentle walks around the lakes. Youngsters are sure to enjoy feeding the many ducks, whilst the popular bowls club could be the ideal way to make new friends and increase social opportunities.
