Brighton a commuter's paradise

Brighton a commuter's paradise

It is no secret that the south coast is home to a number of great cities and towns, but Brighton has deservedly built itself a reputation for being one of the most exciting.

Situated just an hour away from London, many commuters look are beginning to look for properties for sale in Brighton, which has subsequently earned the nickname of London-on-Sea, due to having developed an increasingly sophisticated and cosmopolitan air in recent years.

The town contains a number of wonderfully landscaped parks that are sure to appeal to anyone looking to get away from the bustling crowds of the capital in favour of something a little more laid back.

Most commuters tend to purchase properties near the station, where a modern two-bedroom apartment can be bought for around £200,000.

The atmosphere of the town is heightened further by the fact that it prides itself on being a thriving cultural hotbed. The Brighton Festival in May is England’s biggest arts festival, while the Theatre Royal attracts some of the biggest plays on their pre-London tours.

There has always been something of a theatrical tradition in the town, which is also the birthplace of Lord Olivier.

With such a rich tradition of culture, it is perhaps no surprise that the city has managed to attract many people from London and further afield, something that has led to something of a property boom in the town.

And although many of the people looking to move to the town probably can't afford the million pound houses that line the seafront, Brighton has still managed to become hugely desirable.

Its not just people from London either, as there are a seizable number of boating enthusiasts who have become drawn to the town's marina, which has held an immense amount of appeal ever since it was regenerated. ADNFCR-1222-ID-801689092-ADNFCR
