Bournemouth offers breath of fresh air

The coastal town of Bournemouth could be the ideal new location for those looking to move closer to the sea.

Around 185,000 people call the town home and it has a great atmosphere that offers a real alternative to living in busier in-land cities.

Of course, one of the main attractions is the nearby shoreline stretches for miles, offering brilliant sea views and an abundance of fresh air.

However, the town itself has some really interesting features. Some buildings around the centre were built in the Victorian period and this helps to give Bournemouth a real sense of heritage.

Alongside the older architecture there are also some newer buildings, such as the Waterfront Cinema and Leisure Complex, this contrast in styles really helps to make Bournemouth feel a little different than your normal seaside town.

There is plenty of property for sale in Bournemouth and some of it is located very close to the nearby beaches. Benefiting from high-quality sand, they are the ideal places for a day out, taking an evening stroll or walking the dogs.

For anyone who enjoys shopping, then the centre of the town is ideal. Many of the streets are pedestrianised for the public and there is a mixture of high street brands and original boutiques to be found in and around Bournemouth's traditional Victorian arcades.

Bournemouth is also home to a number of concert venues and public parks, so there is plenty to suit most people.

Interestingly, a survey conducted in 2007 discovered that 82 per cent of residents were content with their lives, making it one of the happiest places to live in the UK.ADNFCR-1222-ID-801724413-ADNFCR
