Bewdley: Relaxing life in the heart of Worcestershire

Finding a quiet town with plenty to do in the rural regions of England is not the world's easiest task, with some such settlements often being difficult to dig up.

However, for those who are on the look out for this kind of place to set up their new base in, the sort of thing they are seeking can be found if they head out and view property for sale in Bewdley.

The Worcestershire town is home to just 9,000 or so people, making it a relaxing little area. However, for those worried it might be too quiet - never fear. The settlement is also packed with activities, facilities and perfect countryside to keep you busy, fit and healthy during the time you choose to live there.

For older residents, the chance to stay active while enjoying the peace and quiet may be something they look towards. Why not try a nature walk or a gentle hike in the nearby Wyre Forest, which has dedicated walks and cycle paths marked out. Alternatively, walks along the meandering River Severn can also be enjoyable and allow you to get a bit of fresh air and exercise.

Back in the town, there are a plethora of shops, bars, restaurants and cafes that will mean you will be able to find something that feels local and warm no matter what you are looking for. Like in most small towns such as this, the emphasis is on community and the home-made feel of the region.

There are also events that cater to locals and make them feel like a part of the family. An example of this will be Discover Bewdley, which comprises a parade, exhibits from many artists and some stalls from which people can buy locally-sourced and made produce.

In addition to this, there is the Bewdley Festival and the annual carnival in June, at which attendees can enjoy a wonderful day partaking in activities that are geared towards making sure the whole family has a great day out.ADNFCR-1222-ID-801582679-ADNFCR
